Cold remedy for children and adults

Cold remedy for children and adults

Last year, the research agency BCGroup conducted a survey on cold remedies for children under 12 years of age.

The goal of the project was to assess the popularity of cold medicines for children before and after the advertising campaign.

Tasks facing the study:

  • assessment of the popularity of drugs for the common cold (top-of-mind, spontaneous and induced popularity);
  • evaluation of consumer preferences;
  • assessment of satisfaction with the drug last used;
  • evaluation of the effectiveness of an advertising campaign based on changes in brand awareness indicators.

This collection was carried out using an online survey. The total number of respondents in one wave was 1,600 people. The survey involved women aged 20 to 40 years, with children under the age of 12, who had experienced a cold at least once in the last year.

A feature of the study was a three-stage measurement of recognition indicators (with the standard two): before the advertising campaign, 3 months and 6 months after the start of the advertising campaign.
