Attitude of the population towards migrants

One of the pressing topics of our time is the attitude towards migrants. This is exactly what became the object of a series of studies conducted by the research agency BCGroup.

The key goal of the research was to assess the relationship between migrants and residents of Russian regions.

The following tasks were set for the study:

• assessment of the general situation in the region on the national issue;
• assessment of the attitude of indigenous residents of Russian regions to the neighborhood with representatives of other nationalities;
• assessment of residents’ attitudes towards “internal” and “external” migration.

Online and personal interviews were used as data collection methods.

More than 5,000 people from different regions answered the research questions, which made it possible to obtain a picture reflecting the real relationship between migrants and native residents of Russia.
