Thermal insulation materials based on polyurethanes


The BCGroup research agency conducted a series of studies for a global manufacturer of thermal insulation products.

The purpose of one of the studies was to study the market for polyurethane-based thermal insulation products in two countries.

The objectives of the study included:

  • assessment of market capacity in general and in individual regions;
  • competitive analysis of manufacturers and importers of technical products;
  • assessment of market shares, capacities of manufacturers and importers of technical materials;
  • studying the reasons for the loyalty of the target audience to certain brands;
  • other highly specialized issues.

Desk research, expert interviews and an online survey of organizational specialists were used as methods for collecting information. The survey involved purchasing and supply managers, contractors of construction organizations and other decision-makers on the purchase of thermal insulation materials at enterprises in the regions of both countries.

The research allowed the company to assess the current state of the markets and select “candidates” for purchase (acquisition).
