Last year, the research agency BCGroup conducted a study of the market for teaching musical instruments.

The purpose of this research was to study market development and search for opportunities for the development of the company that ordered the research.

The following tasks were set for the study:

  • assessment of market capacity;
  • compiling a list of characteristics/indicators that influence the size of the market capacity (in order to select cities for opening branches);
  • studying the demand for directions: guitar, piano, drums, vocals;
  • target audience segmentation;
  • competitive analysis.

Desk research, online survey and secret audit were used as methods for collecting information.
