Factory production of ice cream


In 2024, the research agency BCGroup conducted a study of ice cream consumer preferences. The respondents were happy to discuss the presented topic. We enthusiastically selected the taste, filling and appearance of the “ideal ice cream”. They criticized and praised the flavors and forms of ice cream he proposed.

The purpose of the study was to determine the positioning of a new brand. It's no secret that the ice cream market has experienced a decline in recent years. The customer of the study set the goal of understanding the modern tastes of the population and creating an ideal trade line with different products aimed at specific consumer groups.

Tasks that were set for the study:

  • identification of general consumer preferences;
  • consumer segmentation;
  • determination of taste preferences of various consumer groups;
  • identification of financially attractive segments of the target audience;
  • identifying the characteristics of consumer behavior of selected segments and their tastes.

Observation, personal and online surveys were used as methods of collecting information. The survey involved residents from 10 to 80 years old who consume ice cream.

The survey evoked extremely positive emotions among the population, and the results of the study contributed to the emergence of a new brand on the market.
